On my latest trip to Portland, I stayed in the Hawthorne district and got to explore Hawthorne more fully. On my walk, I found the Gold Dust Meridian – and I was just in time for brunch! I skipped my normal Yelp research and took a chance and was not disappointed.
Affordable Portland Brunch
I won’t lie. One of the reasons I skipped researching ahead of time is the prices seemed affordable. It wouldn’t be too costly if it wasn’t good. All of the brunch items were in the $7 to $10 range with drinks between $5 and $8.
The breakfast sandwich was delicious! It wasn’t huge, but perfectly satisfying for one. Unfortunately I didn’t have room left for the banana lumpia but they sounded incredible!
