Dreaming of your trip to Kauai? You can get a peek of the island through several webcams placed at various locations. Below are a list of Kauai webcams with links to view them.
Kauai Weather Check
Our favorite use of the Kauai webcams is to monitor weather and surf. The weather on Kauai can vary widely. It might be raining on the east side and sunny on the west. Check out the webcams to see where the sun is! (Hint: You’re most likely to find sun on the South Shore). Is it raining all over Kauai? Check out our blog on What To Do When It Rains on Kauai for some activity suggestions. If you like to surf, check the webcams to see the water conditions.
List of Kauai Webcams
Sheraton Kauai Beach (our favorite because of the view) You can control the camera on this one! See surfers, pool goers and beautiful beach views.
PK’s Surf Break (watch the surfers and check out the Kauai surf condition)
Poipu – You will have to watch an ad before seeing the webcam.
View of Hanalei from the St. Regis Princeville. You can control this cam! Look in the bottom right corner for controls.
Westin Princeville Pools – you mainly see the pools and a small bit of ocean
Hanalei Valley – you won’t see much actually happening here – but it’s good for checking the weather and the river (it does flood and close down the roads)
View of Bali Hai – from Hanalei Bay Resort
Albatross Cam – see live feed of a Laysan albatross nest. This is seasonal.
East Side of Kauai
Kauai Marriott – See Kalapaki bay – you can control this camera to move around and zoom in!!! Controls are in the bottom right corner.
Lihue Heliport – not much to see on this one
Love What You’re Seeing?
If you love a location you see on the webcam, add it to your Tripidee trip. You won’t forget about it on your trip and who knows? You might get to wave at the cameras when someone else is watching and dreaming of Kauai.
